What happens when you reach out
Initial conversation
We talk about your course, your students, and the communication expectations you are working with. This is exploratory — no prior experience with writing pedagogy is required.
Scoping the engagement
Together we identify what a WOLF engagement could look like for your situation: a single assignment redesign, a curriculum audit, or something in between. We establish a rough timeline and set of goals.
Liaison matching
CWSP matches you with a liaison appropriate to your disciplinary context and availability. Liaison pairings are made by CWSP staff.
Working sessions
You and your liaison work through the Inquiry, Design, and Evidence phases at a pace that fits your semester. Most engagements involve four to six working sessions of one to two hours each.
Documentation and close
At the end of the engagement, your WSCP Working Template serves as a record of the work: decisions made, artifacts produced, and evidence gathered. You keep it.
A few things to know
Before you reach out
You do not need to have a problem
WOLF is not a remediation program. Many faculty come in with courses that are already working well and want to strengthen or document what they are doing.
Any discipline is welcome
WOLF has worked with courses in engineering, business, social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, and professional programs. Communication is disciplinary — liaisons bring frameworks, not templates.
Timing matters
The most productive engagements begin a semester before the course you want to revise. Mid-semester redesigns are possible but compressed. Reach out early if you can.
AI Literacies is available
If your interest is specifically in AI, authorship, and academic integrity, let us know. We can scope an engagement around the AI Literacies extension or combine it with a full WOLF engagement.
AI Policy Lab is available
If your department or curriculum committee needs to work through AI use policy — at the course, program, or institutional level — the AI Policy Lab is a standalone workshop that can run independently or alongside a WOLF engagement.
